Tyson Stengle

An exciting small forward, Tyson Stengle made his AFL debut for Richmond in 2017 and will continue his AFL career with Geelong in season 2022.

A junior at Portland Football Club, he was a member of Port Adelaide’s Aboriginal AFL Academy during his teenage years, while starring for Woodville-West Torrens and South Australia’s representative teams.

A nephew of Swans great Michael O’Loughlin and cousin of Eddie Betts, Tyson joined the latter at Adelaide in 2019 and spent two seasons with the Crows.

Following time away from the AFL in 2021, he returned to Woodville-West Torrens, helping the Eagles win the SANFL Premiership and kicking 44 goals during the campaign.
