Exciting small forward Tyson Stengle made his AFL debut after Richmond drafted the South Australia in the 2017 Rookie Draft. Two years later, he was traded to Adelaide ahead of the 2019 season.
Growing up, he played for Portland Football Club while he was at Woodville-West Torrens. He kicked 37 goals in 19 games with the Eagles Reserves and Under-18s. During the 2016 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships he was one of SA’s key players.
Stengle is the latest in a talented footballing family, he is the cousin of Eddie Betts and nephew of Sydney legend Michael O’Loughlin. A young and driven footballer, Tyson has an exciting and fulfilling AFL career ahead of him and has all the necessary support networks to become a leader in the game.
