Australian champion Jaimee Fourlis has been touted by Tennis Australia as one of the best up and coming females in Australian tennis. It has been a meteoric rise for Jaimee, who in 2016 won her first professional tournament in Perth, and then winning the 2017 wildcards into the Australian Open and the French Open.

When she was just 17, she captured the attention of the Australian public with a straight sets victory in the first round of the 2017 Australian Open. Later that year she went on to win the U18 National Championships earning her a place in the Australian Open. She also won a wildcard playoff into the French Open.

Fast forward to 2019, at 20 years old Jaimee competed at the Australian Open again and is looking forward to returning to play.
