Jada Whyman is a leading Australian footballer who has established herself as the premier goalkeeper in A-League Women’s where she currently plays for Sydney FC.

Born and raised in Wagga Wagga, her football talents eventually took her to Canberra and the prestigious Westfields Sports High School in Sydney.

Jada made her professional debut for the Western Sydney Wanderers at 16 and over the next five seasons won numerous accolades for her performances between the sticks including the club’s Player of the Year award in 2017/18 and being named in the PFA Team of the Season in 2016/17.

In 2020, she overcame significant injury hurdles before joining Sydney FC, and went on to help the Sky Blues reach the 2021 W-League Grand Final.

Having represented Australia at U-17 and U-20 level, Jada has received multiple selections for Matildas camps, the most recent of those being for the friendlies v Brazil in October 2021.

A proud Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta woman, she serves as an ambassador for the Moriarty Foundation and is committed to supporting the next generation of footballers within its football program.
