Amy Chapman is one of Australia’s leading football voices having been a popular presence on numerous television broadcasts in recent years.
A regular member of Fox Sport’s Football team, she has worked as a co-commentator and panelist on their coverage of the Matildas, W-League and well as the A-League.
In 2019, Amy was a part of Optus Sport’s coverage of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cups and is currently a panelist on their broadcasts of the English Premier League, the Women’s Super League and numerous European Competitions.
An Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) graduate, she made her debut for the Matildas in 2007 and featured 20 times – scoring four goals – for the national team over a seven-year period.
Amy also represented Australia at the 2006 U-20 World Cup in Russia as well as the 2008 Asian Cup in Vietnam and spent a season playing overseas in the US with the LA Strikers.
A 10-season W-League veteran, she won a Championship and Premiership with Brisbane Roar and is widely respected for her work in promoting the women’s game.
A former Professional Footballers Association (PFA) delegate, Amy was appointed to the Football Queensland (FQ) Board of Directors in February 2020 as well as being the Chair of FQ’s Women’s Advisory Council.
