Aleks had a decorated college tennis career at the University of Illinois between 2015–2018, and was named three-time All-American.
2020 has also seen Aleks achieve two career firsts – qualifying for his first Grand Slam by winning through the qualifying stages and into the main draw of the 2020 French Open, as well as his first ATP Challenger final in Monterrey, Mexico.
