Karl Gallagher, hailing from Ireland, has made a name for himself as a professional Australian Rules footballer, proudly representing the Adelaide Football Club in the AFL.

In 2019, Karl's talent captured the attention of AFL recruiters following his outstanding performance at an AFL Combine testing day in Ireland, just before the onset of the pandemic.

The Adelaide Crows closely monitored Karl's development over the years, recognizing his potential. After once again demonstrating his skills during the All-Ireland Gaelic football semi-final in 2023, Karl received an invitation to participate in a pre-season trial with the Crows before Christmas.

Impressing the coaching staff and scouts during the pre-season trial, Karl swiftly secured a spot with Adelaide, signing as a Category B rookie for the 2024 AFL season and looking to have an impact come the 2025 season.
