Ebony Marinoff

A hard-working midfielder with elite endurance, consistency and competitiveness, Ebony Marinoff was Adelaide’s first selection at the inaugural AFLW Draft in 2016. She made an immediate impact in the competition’s first season in 2017, earning All-Australian honours and winning the inaugural AFLW Rising Star award.

Since then, Marinoff has built one of the strongest resumes in the history of the women’s game. She has been a key member of Adelaide’s premiership-winning teams in 2017, 2019 and Season Six, while also becoming one of the most consistent midfielders in the competition. Her ability to win the ball, tackle, cover the ground and influence games has made her a benchmark player across the AFLW.

In 2024, Marinoff produced one of the great individual seasons, winning the AFLW Best and Fairest, AFLPA AFLW Most Valuable Player and AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year awards. A multiple-time All-Australian and Adelaide Club Champion, she has also served as co-captain of the Crows and remains one of the most respected leaders in Australian football.
