ADELAIDE Crows AFLW and ex Canberra United W-League soccer star Jenna McCormick has signed a contract for Norway’s first division soccer club Medkila.

Mount Gambier-born McCormick, 22, will join the club for the start of the second half of the season in August and is hoping to be back in Adelaide in time for the Crows AFLW preseason in November before the 2018 season kicks off.

Medkila is currently in the relegation zone of Norway’s Toppserien with one point from 12 games and four points adrift from safety.

McCormick was an integral cog in the Crows inaugural AFLW premiership winning team with the forward or on-baller also on hunt for a new W-League club after reaching the semi finals with Canberra last season.

McCormick is expected to again have the blessing of both football codes in the hope of continuing a successful career as one of the nation’s first cross code female athletes.
