Cedric Dubler

Cedric Dubler is an Australian decathlete and two-time Olympian who represents the very best of qualities in sport.

Born in Brisbane, he took up several sports while growing up before ultimately excelling in track and field and establishing himself as a specialist decathlete.

Cedric made a gradual rise through the ranks of the sport and in 2014 won Silver at the IAAF U20 World Junior Championships in Eugene while also setting an Oceania junior record of 8094 points.

In 2016, he became the first Australian since Sydney 2000 to compete in the decathlon at the Rio Olympics, finishing an impressive 14th.

A Bronze medallist at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, he continued his impressive form throughout the 2019 season and won Silver at the Oceania Championships in Townsville.

In 2021, Cedric’s exploits at the Tokyo Olympics won him international plaudits for his in-race motivation of teammate Ashley Moloney in the 1500m.

The moment helped his fellow Australian towards winning Bronze and was recognised as one of the defining moments of the Games.

In 2022, Cedric repeated his achievement from Gold Coast four years prior by winning Bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and is currently sponsored by True Protein and Whoop.
