Renowned for his flare on the football field Eddie Betts is one of the AFLs biggest names, having played over 300 games for both Carlton and Adelaide football clubs, and over 300 when including pre-season and International Rules matches. Eddie has been a dominant forward his entire career, having kicked over 500 goals to date.
Eddie has earned many accolades including being named in the All-Australian team three times, winning AFL goal of the year three times, playing for Australia in the International Rules Series on numerous occasions, representing the Indigenous All Stars, and being recognised as an AFL Life Member.
Eddie’s abilities in the forward line are evident having been the leading goal kicker at the Adelaide Crows for the last four seasons. Since moving to the club, Eddie’s impressive work ethic has been recognised by his coaches and teammates winning the Chelsea Phillis Coaches Award in 2014 and the Phil Walsh Best Team Man Award in 2016.
An incredible role model both on and off the football field, Eddie loves nothing more than being a father and spending time with his family.
